Romanesco broccoli (Brassica Oleracea)! This edible flower (a variant of cauliflower) is actually a series of buds composed of smaller and smaller buds that form multiple layers of a logarithmic spiral. The number of logarithmic spirals is a Fibonacci number. As for its culinary use, Romanesco broccoli can be prepared like other broccoli or eaten raw and has a milder, less bitter flavor than conventional broccoli and cauliflower.
